PocketVNC

Privacy Policy · Last updated: June 27, 2026

PocketVNC is a VNC remote-desktop client developed by MB Networks. This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: we do not run any servers that collect your data, and your connection details stay on your device.

Information stored on your device

We do not operate any account system or backend, so this information is not uploaded to us or to any third party by the app.

VNC connections

When you connect to a VNC server, the app communicates directly between your device and the server you chose. We are not a party to that connection and do not see, route, or store its contents. Where the server supports it, connections can be encrypted using VeNCrypt/TLS.

Advertising (free tier)

The free version of the app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process certain information (such as advertising identifiers and device/usage data) to serve and measure ads, in accordance with Google’s policies. Where required, the app presents a consent prompt (Google User Messaging Platform) so you can manage your choices. Subscribing to PocketVNC Pro removes ads.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple provides us only with anonymized purchase and subscription status needed to enable the features you bought.

Data we collect

We, the developer, do not collect personal information from the app. Any data processing is performed by the third parties named above (Google AdMob, Apple) under their own privacy policies.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
